Enable Staff Note Permissions

Staff Notes are enabled by Permissions on Roles under Company Account.

Roles can have permissions as follows:

  • View Notes

  • Add Notes/Edit Notes

  • Delete Note

 

Only Role 4 has Staff Notes permissions by default

Add Note Types

Company Account: Staff Member Settings: Note Types

  • Staff Note Types can be created to classify the note entries on the staff profile.

  • Click “+Staff Note Type

  • “Staff Note Type” field is required.

  • Note Type is marked “Active” by default.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For Note Type to display as an option on Staff Profile>Notes, it must be marked as Active.

Users cannot delete a note type that has been assigned to a note.  It can be marked inactive.

“Description” is optional.

 

Access Staff Notes in the Staff Profile

On Staff profile, Notes section is now visible for those users with permissions.

 

 

Navigating Staff Notes

By default, the notes will display in order of creation date, most recent first.

Notes page can be sorted by clicking on any column header.

Notes can be filtered by Note Type, Created by, Created On, Last Updated by, Last Updated On.

Click “Add New Notes” to create a new Client Note.

 

User can click on the icon in the Notes field to expand and display the full note content.

 

 

Create Staff Note

Complete required fields:

  • Note Type

  • Title

  • Notes

Click Save.

Notes marked “private' will only be viewable by the user who created the note and users with Role 4 permissions.
