Funder Report Improvements: Behavior Reduction Strategies & Recommended Skills and Behaviors

Antecedent and Consequence Strategies

As a BCBA, if you have added in antecedent and consequence strategies under steps 3 and 4 of behavior support, you will have the option to have strategies included in a funder report under behavior reduction progress.

• By default, the strategies will be included with Behavior Reduction Progress when running a funder report when using the Rethink Behavior Plan Template. You have the option to include or exclude the strategies when running a report.

• If a you have not filled in the strategies, the fields will be hidden when running a funder report (they will NOT appear as blank).

• Strategies include the following:

  • Antecedent Strategies: Replacement Skills, Adaptive Skills, Other Proactive Strategies, & Custom Strategies.

  • Consequence Strategies: Problem Behavior Strategies, Appropriate Behavior Strategies, & Custom Strategies.

Justification Field

Additional optional field in step 1 of behavior support.

• If a you fill in the justification field in behavior support, it will populate into your funder report under behavior reduction progress. If it is not filled in, the field will be hidden in the report.

• If this field has been added to behavior support, it will also be shown on the mobile app view of the behavior plan.

• This is not a required field to fill save step 1 of behavior support.

Intensity/Severity Field

Additional optional field in step 1 of behavior support.

• If a you fill in the intensity/severity field in behavior support, it will populate into their funder report under behavior reduction progress. If it is not filled in, the field will be hidden in the report.

• If this field has been added to behavior support, it will also be shown on the mobile app view of the behavior plan.

• This is not a required field to fill save step 1 of behavior support.

Recommended Skills and Behaviors Fields

• Recommended Skills will be replacing the Recommended Goals field.

• New field - Recommended Behaviors

You now have the option to add recommended skills and recommended behaviors as seperate fields on a template.

• Recommended Skills - Future Plan Skill Acquisition Goals

• Recommended Behaviors - Active behavior goals without any data entered (baseline & intervention).

  • Requirement - Completing step 1 & step 5 of behavior support in order to have goals displayed in a funder report as recommended behavior goals.

  • ABC data - ABC data can be entered and the behavior goals will populate into the recommended behaviors field of a funder report.

• Recommended Behaviors also includes antecedent and consequence strategies if they have been added in behavior support.

Goal Status Field

• You now have the option to include or exclude goal status field when running report. This can be checked or unchecked in the template for future reports.

• Applies to the following fields in a template:

  • Skill acquisition progress

  • Behavior Reduction Progress

  • Recommended Skills

  • Recommended Behaviors

• When unchecked, this will streamline and improve the formatting for reports.

• By default the goal status will be checked.

Notes Field

You now have the option to include or exclude the notes field when running report. This can be checked on unchecked in the template for future reports.

  • Behavior Reduction Progress

  • Recommended Skills

  • Recommended Behaviors
