Role Permissions- Cancel Verified/Unverified Appointments

Set Up Permissions

In company account>roles>edit permissions

New options are viewable:

• Cancel Unverified Appointments

Open

When this permission is selected, “view appointments” and “view calendar” permissions will automatically be selected, if not previously checked.

• Cancel Verified Appointments

When this permission is selected, “Cancel Unverified Appointments”, “View Appointments” and “View Calendar” permissions will automatically be selected, if not previously checked.

• For existing accounts, users with ‘edit’ appointment permission will also have cancel unverified appointment and cancel verified appointments options selected.

• For existing and new accounts by default Role 4 will have both permissions selected.

• Users with cancel verified appointment permission by default will also be able to cancel unverified appointments.

Cancel Unverified Appointments Permission

Users will be able to see the “cancellations” section of appointment details and use the checkboxes to cancel unverified appointments.

• Users without this permission will be able to see the cancellation options in the appointment detail screen but the checkboxes will be greyed out and the user will not be able to cancel unverified appointments.

1. Unverified appointments are defined as:

   • Appointments not in “complete” status

Do not have:

• Staff verification

• Parent verification

2. Users may cancel appointments with existing:

• session note

• principal verification

Cancel Verified Appointments Permission

Users will be able to see the “cancellations” section of appointment details and use the checkboxes to cancel verified appointments

1. Verified appointments are defined as:

• Appointments with existing staff, parent or principal verification.

2. Appointments with Complete status may NOT be cancelled

Bulk Cancel appointments in the Appointment List

When selecting a verified appointment(s) in the appointment lists users without permission to cancel verified appointments will see error messaging to inform them they do not have permission to take this action.

• Users without cancel unverified permission will not have the cancel action available in the appointment list
