Creating Behavior Support Plans

The Behavior Support tab is where specific behaviors can be operationally defined, data collection methods set, and antecedent and consequence strategies outlined.

Note: Step 1 (Define Behavior) and Step 5 (Track Effectiveness) are the only REQUIRED steps to collect intervention data on a specific behavior.

1

Once in a client’s profile, click on BEHAVIOR SUPPORT

2

Once in the BEHAVIOR SUPPORT area, click on CREATE PLAN

If you do not see the CREATE PLAN tab, you will want to reach out to an administrator at your organization to ensure you have permission enabled in your role to access this tab.

3

Once in the CREATE PLAN section, click on ADD BEHAVIOR

4

Once you’ve clicked on ADD BEHAVIOR, Step 1 will populate. Click on VIEW SETTINGS to edit any of the default settings.

Note: The fields with red asterisks are required fields and must be set/completed to save the target behavior and commence baseline data collection.

Behavior Definition, Justification, and Severity; as well as Goal/Objectives are NOT required fields to commence baseline data collection on a target behavior.

Note: Step 1 is the only step the must be completed for a behavior to pull into a Funder Report under the RECOMMENDED BEHAVIORS field

5

The last two fields with asterisks are PLAN and START DATE.

PLAN: If you wish, this is where you can name the Behavior Support Plan

START DATE: The date entered here should be the date of the first data point you wish to enter for this behavior.

6

Once you have completed all fields, with a red asterisk, Click CREATE PLAN

7

Once you have clicked CREATE PLAN, staff can begin collecting/entering baseline data for the target behavior on the WEBSITE or MOBILE APP.

If you wish, the baseline data that has been collected can be used create baseline measures for your goal.

To do so, Click on the target behavior under the CREATE PLAN tab in the BEHAVIOR SUPPORT tab

9

From here, scroll down and click on STEP 5: TRACK EFFECTIVENESS

10

Here you will find the baseline data that you collected averaged and automatically inputted into the goal.

You can choose to track effectiveness through one goal or goals and objectives.

11

If you choose Goal and Objectives, once you set your GOAL the OBJECTIVES will automatically be set for you.

You can edit OBJECTIVES 1 and 2, but OBJECTIVE 3 must match your GOAL.

Behaviors can be tracked across consecutive sessions, days, weeks, or months.

12

If you would like to add in a BEHAVIOR DEFINITION or make changes to the BEHAVIOR DEFINITION, click EDIT by Step 1.

The fields that can edited once baseline data collection has began include:

Behavior Name, Behavior Definition, Where/When, Plan, Start Date.

If you wish to edit other fields, you will need to DUPLICATE the program and edit the duplicate. Here is a “how-to” guide on how to do so: Duplicating a Skill or Behavior Goal (Note: In order for the COPY PROGRAM button to populate, a goal must first be set for the target behavior)
